Two-week Puppy Boot Camp
In our Puppy Boot Camp board and train program, we accept young dogs from 16 weeks of age and older and provide a comprehensive, structured program designed to establish reliable habits and a strong foundation for future training. The curriculum emphasizes:
Crate training: We teach puppies to view the crate as a secure, comfortable space, using positive, force-free methods to build calm, independent behavior and reduce anxiety.
Potty training: Through consistent routines and proven reinforcement techniques, we accelerate house-training progress and help owners maintain success after graduation.
Basic obedience: Puppies learn essential cues such as sit, down, stay, recall, and place, with an emphasis on clear communication, repetition, and progressive proofing in real-world environments.
Leash manners: We introduce polite leash walking, loose-leash walking mechanics, and attention work to minimize pulling and improve handler control in a variety of settings.
Foundation skills: Socialization, attention and focus exercises, impulse control, and predictable daily routines are integrated into training to support long-term behavior and learning capacity.
Instruction is delivered by experienced trainers who apply positive reinforcement and individualized adjustments to suit each puppy’s temperament and learning pace. We provide owners with written protocols, video demonstrations, and coaching to ensure consistent reinforcement at home and a smooth transition following camp completion.
